Vandalsoft is a smartfarm company that specializes in automated insect breeding. As the lead product designer and developer for the company, it was important to design a standardized rack that Vandalsoft could put a price to and sell as a unit.
Specifications:

The dimensions of the rack structure is 2400mm x 650mm x 1800mm.
The breeding rack comes with a TF-01 insect smart farm controller, a hydro-pump, LED status lights, water dispensers, and breeding lights.
Bare Rack and LED Status Lights.
The LED Status Light Indicates the Maturity of the Crickets.
The Insect Breeding Rack creates and maintains the optimal environment for insect growth and hatching - without human labor. It can be customized for any number of farmable insects, such as crickets, mealworms and the black soldier fly. Through multiple sensors throughout the device, the TF-01 computer at the top of the breeding rack collects data on moisture, lighting and health condition of the insects. Based on this data, moisture, feeding and lighting is controlled for rigorous growth of the produce.
The hydro-pump pushes water up to all floors of the breeding rack, which are then distributed by an electrical level controlled by the TF-01 computer.
LED Lights create a sense of day-night cycle for the crickets inside the breeding rack.
This is a walkthrough video of the Vandalsoft Insect Smart Farm. Viewers can see the Insect Breeding Rack in operation. The video was created through Unreal Engine, by creating a game environment with SolidWorks models, and using an invisible character to walk around the environment.
The Insect Breeding Rack broadcasted on Korean national television 'MTN'.
