Initial prototype of the Children's Laser-Cut Lamp.
Realized that, in order for the shell to be able to hold the bulb, the body needed to be lifted off the ground about 10cms.
Created a new prototype that would be able to hold the bulb-bearing.
The curved body of the laser-cut lamp was created using a 'living hinge' type laser cut.
Laser-cut pieces for the actual product.
Putting the pieces together.
I chose the color green because it resembled the patina on an anchor when it rusts.

I think that this would be a good product, as:
1. It is cheap and easy to make.
2. The design can be easily changed by laser-cutting different shapes, or by changing the color of the acrylic.
3. Can be completely flat packed.
4. It is easy to put together even with no instructions.
